Foreign Language Education is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. Before you know it, all the pieces come together to form a beautiful picture, that says a thousand words. Having the ability to put a jigsaw puzzle together requires (a) patience (b) self-management, (c) problems solving skills, (d) critical thinking, (e) decision making skills (f) effective communication when working in groups (g) leadership (h) collaborative skills. Therefore, the jigsaw puzzle metaphor represents the skills that cadets need to develop and understand to be successful in this course.
